This protects the frame and transitions many of the tightening torque to the clamp load to provide a rigid interface to prevent sticking and cascles when removing axles. Compatibility: 0.06 x 7.4 inches (1.5 x 187 mm); Material: 7075 T6 aluminum/stainless steel copper washer; Weight: 1.6 oz (46 g); Tool: 5/6 mm Hex wrench
- 12mm Rear Thru Axle, Axle length is independent of hub dimensions. Please use the Axle measurement guide to find the axle length needed. Axle length is compatible +/- 2mm
- The Wolf Tooth Rear Axle uses a captive steel washer under the head to reduce friction on the dropout face. This protects your expensive frame, transfers more of the tightening torque to clamping load for a stiffer interface, and prevents the axle from sticking or galling when you want to remove it
