Redwood Empire Haystack 14 Year Single Barrel is a San Diego Barrel Boys private selection — a 14-year-aged single barrel pick from Redwood Empire, the California craft distillery known for its sustainably sourced grains and its Redwood-forest themed naming. The 14-year age and single-barrel format produce a depth and complexity well beyond Redwood Empire’s standard lineup.
SDBB picks present specific barrels selected by the San Diego Barrel Boys, with the engraved bottle identifying the selection. The 14-year barrel age represents the upper end of Redwood Empire’s aged whiskey program — substantial oak integration and developed grain character. Single barrel format means this exact expression will not be replicated.
