Old Forester The 117 Series Straight Bourbon is a unique small batch release, showcasing the distinctive maturation environment of Warehouse I in Shively, Kentucky.
Each warehouse at Old Forester imparts its own unique character to the bourbon, and Warehouse I is no exception. This special batch has been carefully heat-cycled since 2013, a process that enhances the interaction between the bourbon and the barrel, leading to a deeper and more complex flavor profile. The barrels for this release have been exclusively chosen from the hottest floors of the warehouse, known for accelerating the aging process and intensifying the flavors.
