Description
Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon delivers a richer and more assertive version of the classic Old Forester profile, offering firm structure and elevated depth. It opens with bold notes of caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, and toasted oak, followed by warm baking spice and a touch of dark fruit. The finish is long and steady, carrying oak warmth and balanced sweetness supported by its higher proof.
Producer
Crafted by Brown Forman in Louisville, Kentucky, this expression represents the brand’s long tradition of producing dependable, bottled in bond style bourbon even outside the official designation. The higher proof preserves more flavor from fermentation and barrel aging, showcasing Old Forester’s trademark balance of sweetness, spice, and oak. Each batch reflects careful blending designed to maintain strength, consistency, and classic character.
Cocktail Suggestion
This bourbon makes an outstanding Old Fashioned where its caramel and spice stand up cleanly to bitters and citrus. It also excels in a Whiskey Sour, offering enough proof and structure to create a bright, balanced cocktail.
