Old Commonwealth 10 Year 2024 Release 130.4 Proof — a 10-year cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon from the Old Commonwealth program at 130.4 proof, presenting the 2024 release year’s barrel selection at high natural concentration.
Old Commonwealth is a Kentucky straight bourbon program presenting aged whiskey at extended age statements and natural cask strength. At 10 years and 130.4 proof, the 2024 release delivers a balance of grain vibrancy and oak integration that 10-year maturation typically produces — more developed than younger expressions but without the deep oak dominance of extended-age releases.
Tasting Notes
Cherry syrup, ripe plums, honey, and marzipan on the nose; dark chocolate undertones develop on air. The palate is medium-weight, coating with cherry pie and ripe plums — a fruity, concentrated profile that reads more distinctively than the caramel-vanilla typical of standard Kentucky bourbon at this age. The finish is long with macerated peaches, tobacco, and leather.
