Michter’s US1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is a unique expression introduced in 2014, crafted by aging Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon in a second, custom-made toasted barrel. This second barrel is made from 18-month air-dried wood, which is toasted but not charred, enhancing the complexity and depth of the whiskey without adding any additional ingredients. The result is a rich and nuanced bourbon that showcases the meticulous attention to detail Michter’s is known for. It has been widely celebrated by whiskey enthusiasts, receiving acclaim from Food and Wine, Robert Parker, and more.
