Bottled at 100 proof, this whiskey delivers a bold and robust character, perfect for discerning palates. Produced and bottled by the esteemed R.J. Cooper & Son, this 750ml bottle captures the essence of a well-aged rye, showcasing a harmonious blend of carefully selected vintages.
The composition of Batch 2024 is a masterful blend, featuring 80% 8-year-old rye, imparting a rich, full-bodied flavor as the foundation. This is complemented by 1.5% of an 11-year-old rye, adding subtle depth and complexity. A 7.5% portion of 13-year-old rye introduces layers of spice and warmth, while the final 10% of 16-year-old rye contributes a smooth, mature finish that lingers on the palate.
Each sip of Lock Stock & Barrel Vatted Straight Rye Batch 2024 reveals a symphony of flavors, where the sweetness of caramel and vanilla interplays with hints of spice, oak, and dried fruit. The balance of youthful vigor and aged sophistication makes this rye whiskey a true testament to the dedication and expertise of R.J. Cooper & Son. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail, this rye promises an exceptional drinking experience.
