This particular barrel was laid down on September 26, 2016 and matured in Warehouse F, Floor 6, Rick 16 before being selected on July 22, 2026. Its sixth-floor resting place subjected the barrel to significant seasonal temperature changes throughout maturation, encouraging deeper interaction between the whiskey and its charred oak barrel.

The result is an intensely flavored, full-bodied expression showcasing the character that makes Knob Creek single barrels so sought after. Expect layers of deep caramel, toasted vanilla and brown sugar, joined by roasted nuts, seasoned oak and baking spice, with darker notes of cherry, toffee and char emerging as the whiskey opens in the glass.
