There’s no faking full bourbon flavour. It has to be earned. So that’s what Knob Creek does in Clermont: they earn it. It starts with the selection of the finest grains and finishes with the meticulous aging of their whiskey in white oak barrels with maximum char, for an unmistakable richness and signature sweetness. It’s the natural way. And there’s just no cheating nature. The 12 year expression is full proof for full flavor ... an honest Pre-Prohibition style bourbon.
Nose: Caramel initially with allspice & cloves making an apprearance.
Palate: Syrupy sweetness on the front palate with caramel & vanilla. Molasses and allspice on the back palate.
Finish: Sweetness carries through to the finish with a sweet/salty character.
