Kilchoman Inaugural 2009 Release is a historic and highly collectible Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Kilchoman Distillery, marking the distillery’s very first general release. Launched in September 2009, this landmark bottling introduced Kilchoman’s distinctive farm distillery style to the world, with 9,000 bottles produced.
Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels for up to 3 years and then finished for 6 months in sherry casks, this inaugural release offers a vibrant and youthful profile. It captures Kilchoman’s signature combination of bright citrus, sweet malt, and robust peat smoke, balanced by a touch of sherried richness.
