JT Meleck Small Batch American Rice Whiskey comes from Louisiana, a region known for its rich agricultural heritage. Made from 100% rice and aged for nearly five years in new American oak barrels, it develops a deep amber hue and a complex, well-rounded character. This release, long anticipated by whiskey enthusiasts, captures the essence of Louisiana craftsmanship.
The aroma opens with warm vanilla, toasted oak, and caramelized sugar, leading to a palate of butterscotch, baking spices, and hints of dark fruit. The rice base brings a smooth, creamy texture, balancing the bold oak influence with a subtle nuttiness. The finish lingers with notes of honey and spice, offering a refined yet approachable sip.
Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water, this whiskey shines in its purest form. Its smoothness and depth also make it an excellent choice for classic whiskey cocktails, adding a distinctive twist with its rice-driven profile.
