- Iverhart 12.1-25 lbs. Chewable Tablet - 6 Count
- For use in dogs to prevent canine heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of
heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis) for a month (30 days) after infection and for the treatment and
control of roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (Ancylostoma
caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma braziliense), and tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum,
Taenia pisiformis). - Ivermectin with pyrantel pamoate is used in dogs to prevent heartworm disease and for the treatment and control of roundworms and hookworms. The FDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) has approved this drug for use in dogs. The FDA allows veterinarians to prescribe and use products containing this drug combination in different species or for other conditions in certain situations. You and your veterinarian can discuss why this drug is the most appropriate choice.
