Foursquare Exceptional Cask Selection series presents a 12-year-aged rum, matured in Caribbean ex-bourbon barrels. Hailing from Barbados and bottled at a robust cask-strength of 60 percent ABV, this rum is far from timid, yet it strikes a balance, avoiding an overly bold and confrontational profile. Aromas of sweet caramel and vanilla beckon to both rum enthusiasts and fans of American whiskey.
Elevating the flavor experience, tropical notes of pineapple, mango, and banana emerge, taking this rum to new heights. A concentrated infusion of molasses introduces a palate of brown sugar and a blissful array of baking spices. It comes as no surprise that this producer is hailed as the "Pappy of Rum," given the exceptional character and craftsmanship embodied in this release.
