Description: Don Q Double Cask Cognac Finish Rum is an outstanding Puerto Rican rum that is carefully blended from rare and selected rums from single and multiple column distillations. The double aging process gives the rum a complex taste with warm oaky tannins, spicy aged molasses and dried fruits. The Cognac finish gives it an elegant astringent finish, making the experience dry and clean. On the nose, the rum presents crisp floral fruit that eventually gives way to honey-oak aromas and rummy notes, with a very subtle awareness of alcohol. It's a unique rum that combines the best of both worlds, the rich and complex flavor of traditional rum and the refinement and elegance of cognac. This is a rum that is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail.
