Description
Bonanto The Ultimate Aperitivo is a Spanish wine-based aperitivo with citrus, Mediterranean herbs, cherry, apple, and balanced bitterness. Made with more than 30 botanicals, aromatic plants, selected citrus fruits, and cherry and apple distillate, it sits between vermouth and bitter aperitivo. Bottled at 22% ABV with lower sugar, it is built for spritzes, aperitivo highballs, and modern stirred cocktails.
Producer
Bonanto was created by three internationally recognized drinks professionals with experience across wine, spirits, and cocktail culture. Produced in Spain, the aperitivo was designed as a fresh, complex, lower-sugar alternative for modern drinking occasions. Its formula combines a white wine base, Mediterranean botanicals, citrus, and fruit distillates to create a profile that feels both aperitivo-friendly and cocktail-ready.
Cocktail Suggestions
Bonanto The Ultimate Aperitivo is a strong fit for a Bonanto Spritz with cava or prosecco and soda water. The bubbles lift its citrus, cherry, apple, and herbal notes, while the aperitivo’s lower sugar and gentle bitterness keep the drink crisp rather than heavy.
It also works well in a Bonanto Negroni with gin and sweet vermouth. Used in place of a traditional red bitter, Bonanto gives the cocktail a softer, more Mediterranean profile with citrus, herbs, and fruit distillate layered into the classic bitter-sweet structure.
