Limited Time SaleBomberger’s Declaration 2025 Release Precision Fine Grain (PFG) Bourbon showcases a unique approach to bourbon crafting, rooted in meticulous attention to detail and innovative collaboration. This bourbon's exceptional character derives from a custom proprietary barrel, a result of a strategic partnership between Michter's Master of Maturation and expert coopers. This collaboration focuses on every aspect of the barrel-making process, from wood selection to the final toast and char.
Custom Proprietary Barrel Design:
The barrels used for aging Bomberger’s PFG Bourbon are crafted from fine grain oak, chosen specifically for its quality and ability to enhance the whiskey's flavor profile. These barrels are seasoned outdoors for over 40 months, allowing the wood to mellow and interact with the environment, which significantly influences the final spirit's flavor. The barrels undergo a precise toasting and charring process tailored to optimize the extraction of rich, complex flavors during maturation.
