Barrell Craft Spirits 'Mizunara Finished' Bourbon is a distinguished blend of straight bourbon whiskeys from Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The blend comprises 6, 7, and 9-year-old bourbons from Indiana, 8-year-old bourbon from Kentucky, and 8 and 14-year-old bourbons from Tennessee. This unique bourbon is bottled in Kentucky and features a derived mash bill of 76% corn, 20% rye, and 4% malted barley.
The nose reveals a complex aroma with notes of oak, vanilla, and a hint of floral sweetness from the Mizunara barrels. On the palate, it delivers a rich and layered taste experience, with flavors of caramel, spice, and toasted coconut harmonizing beautifully. The Mizunara oak influence adds a delicate, exotic woodiness and a subtle, lingering finish.
With an alcohol content of 57.76%, this cask strength bourbon is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up its intricate flavors. Its robust profile makes it a standout choice for bourbon enthusiasts seeking a distinctive and memorable drinking experience.
