Benefitting from fertile soils and a temperate climate, Lone Vine winemakers carefully crafted a Moscato that’s deliciously expressive. This light-bodied Moscato opens with a sweetly perfumed bouquet of citrus fruits and orange blossom. On the tongue, juicy notes of peach, apricot, and tangerine mingle with floral overtones. Delicate bubbles lift flavors for refreshing results. This Moscato is made in the “New World” style, meaning that it is slightly drier than traditional Italian Moscato, yet it still preserves the sweetness that gave the varietal its fame. Moscato belongs to the Muscat family of grapes, one of the world’s oldest grape families! Around for centuries, Muscat made its way to California in the 1850s. Lone Vine Moscato is perfect as an aperitif or with light desserts, such as cheesecake, berry tarts, or fresh fruit. It will also complement spicy Asian foods that are Thai or Sichuan-inspired.
